Die Erfindung betrifft ein Steuerungssystem für eine Antriebs- oder Bremseinrichtung (2, 3, 74) eines Kraftfahrzeugs (1, 40, 50, 70), wobei das Steuerungssystem eine Steuerung (7, 41, 51, 71) zur Beeinflussung der Antriebs- oder Bremseinrichtung (2, 3, 74) und einen Sensor (9, 42) zur Erfassung zumindest einer die Antriebs- oder Bremseinrichtung (2, 3, 74) betreffenden Größe aufweist und wobei der Sensor (9, 42) ein Steuerungs-Überwachungsmodul (31) zur Überwachung der Steuerung (7, 41, 51, 71) aufweist.
