An achromatic objective lens (L2) has positive and negative lenses (L2a,L2b) for chromatic focal adjustment. A front lens (L1), with a relatively long focal length, serves as a link to the optic axis of the achromatic objective lens. Ein Objektiv, insbesondere Fernrohrobjektiv, das zur chromatischen Fokuskorrektur einen Achromaten aus mindestens einer positiven (L2a) und einer negativen Linse (L2b) aufweist, ist erfindungsgemäß dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Objektiv als erstes Glied einen Frontteil (L1) relativ langer Brennweite aufweist, dem der Achromat (L2) - mit seiner positiven Linse (L2a) - relativ kürzerer Brennweite nachgereiht ist.
