Zusammenfassung:	Switching device includes a control device (10) and a power supply (12) for supplying functional units of the electrical appliance. A switch (14) is provided at the power supply terminals (L,N) for isolating the power supply from them at the primary side. The switch comprises a piezo-switch which is normally open. The piezo-switch is connected to a power semiconductor circuit which connects the control device to the power supply when the switch is operated.
