Zusammenfassung:A cutting wire (7) is held under tension in a cutting region (8) between two tensioning parts (9, 10). An independent claim is also included for an adhesive station (1) for an automated mass production process, especially motor vehicles or automotive parts, comprising at least one application nozzle (4) operated by an adhesive robot (2) and the above cutting device. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Schneideinrichtung (5) zum Abschneiden eines aus einer Austragdüse (4) herausragenden, nicht ausgehärteten Klebstoffstücks (6). Die Schneideinrichtung (5) besitzt einen Schneidfaden (7), der in einer Schneidzone (8) zwischen zwei Spannelementen (9, 10) gespannt gehaltert ist.
