Zusammenfassung: | The heating conductor (1) has a metal conductive core (2) with a plastics mantle (4) shrouding it at least partially. At least a part of the mantle cladding is a heat-activated adhesive (6). The adhesive is solid below its softening temperature of at most 100 degrees C and/or a melting temperature of 80-200 degrees C. The adhesive is an electrical insulator to give the core cladding a dielectric strength of at least 12 V and especially at least 18 V and particularly at least 100 V or at least 1000 V.
