The invention relates to a method and a rolling stand for producing wire, bar stock and seamless pipes. According to the invention, the method compulsory comprises a main roughing stage carried out by means of a three-roller reversing rolling mill in at least one rolling stand, used both for rolling pipes and for producing wires or bars, by bringing the mandrel bar used for pipes out of the operative position, the resulting product being finished with a finishing mill. The claimed rolling stand for carrying out the method comprises a three-roller reversing rolling mill (5) which, for the roughing stage, is provided with multiple stands for rolling steel bars and pipes, and a device (7) for removing the mandrel bar used for pipes, when the rolling stand is used for bars or wires.
