Zusammenfassung:Arrangement for balancing of a delay chain in which a clocked impulse source (10) is used to supply the delay chain that has individual delay members (11) and associated individual voltage taps. The taps are connected to the inputs of a multiplexer (12), while a counter (13) is connected to the multiplexer output for counting the each impulse applied to the multiplexer. An evaluation unit (14) is used to evaluate and, if necessarily temporarily store the counted impulses of the individual delay members. The invention also relates to a corresponding use of the inventive arrangement in a short-range motor vehicle radar system, especially for correlation of delayed radar transmission and receipt pulses. Zum Abgleich einer Verzögerungskette wird letztere durch eine getaktete Impulsquelle (10) gespeist. Einzelabgriffe der einzelnen Verzögerungsglieder (11) werden einem Multiplexer (12) zugeführt und die verzögerten Impulse jedes einzelnen Verzögerungsgliedes (11) gezählt (13) und an eine Auswerteeinrichtung (14) weitergeleitet.
