Zusammenfassung:In a process to reduce automotive exhaust gas emissions, the particles are at least partly removed by an oxidizing agent in a process which at least partly removes nitrogen. In the process the oxidizing agent is dosed and admixed, thereby promoting nitrogen removal. In the process, the exhaust gas nitrogen dioxide (NO2) component and temperature are measured and the oxidation agent is dosed and introduced accordingly. NO2 is introduced after the point at which particles are removed by a filter. The oxidation agent is supplied by an external plasma generator. Nitrogen is removed from the exhaust gases by a storage catalytic converter and/or a selective catalytic process. The oxidation agent is ozone. An Independent claim is also included for a commensurate assembly with a particle filter (10) and a nitrogen removal assembly (20).
