Zusammenfassung:The device has a photovoltaic element(s) for converting solar energy into direct electrical current and a direct current converter element. The photovoltaic element has a direct current connection for electrical connection to the converter element. The photovoltaic and converter elements have associated connecting elements with which the photovoltaic element and converter element can be electrically connected together via a cable connection. The device (1) has at least one photovoltaic element (2) for converting solar energy into electrical energy in the form of direct current and a converter element (3) for converting the direct current. The photovoltaic element has a direct current connection for electrical connection to the converter element. The photovoltaic element and converter element have associated connecting elements (6,7;10,11) with which the photovoltaic element and converter element can be electrically connected together via a cable connection. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a converter element, especially an inverter (b) and a photovoltaic system with at least two photovoltaic modules. Photovoltaikmodul (1; 101) mit mindestens einem Photovoltaikelement (2; 102) zum Wandeln von Solarenergie in elektrische Energie in Form von Gleichstrom, und mit einem Wandlerelement (3; 103) zum Wandeln des von dem Photovoltaikelement (2; 102) erzeugten Gleichstroms, wobei das Photovoltaikelement (2; 102) einen Gleichstromanschluß besitzt zum elektrischen Verbinden mit dem Wandlerelement (3; 103), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Photovoltaikelement (2; 102) und das Wandlerelement (3; 103) einander zugeordnete Verbindungselemente (6, 7; 10, 11) aufweisen, mittels denen das Photovoltaikelement (2; 102) und das Wandlerelement (3; 103) unmittelbar und ohne Zwischenschaltung einer Kabelverbindung miteinander elektrisch verbindbar sind, und daß die einander zugeordneten Verbindungselemente (6, 7; 10, 11) ihrerseits miteinander korrespondierende und in Anlage aneinander bringbare elektrische Kodntaktorgane aufweisen.
