Operating device for cooking hob has same operating controls used for entering heating powers for different cooking zones and time values for time switch used for control of at least one cooking zone

The operating controls are used for entering time values for a timer switch coupled to the operating device, for timed control of at least one cooking zone, the entered time values indicated by the display device. The latter has different display positions (31-34) corresponding to the different cooking zones, the display position for the time-controlled cooking zone indicating the heating power and the other display positions indicating the time values. The operating device has operating controls (21-29) associated with the different cooking zones of the cooking hob, for selection of the heating power and a display device (30) indicating the selected heating power.
