Manufacturing method for smart card as security module, has storage area divided into three zones each having special function

A method of producing a smart card in which the memory (store) is divided into three zones i.e. a start zone, a test/verification zone, and a zone for data and code, in which each zone is given a special function. The test zone is specifically arranged partly in the RAM of the smart card. An Independent claim is given for a smart card having its store (memory) divided into three zones. Es wird vorgesehen, bei der Produktion von Chipkarten den Speicher der Chipkarte so aufzuteilen, dass dieser drei getrennte Speicherbereiche aufweist, denen jeweils eigene Funktionen zugeordnet werden. Es handelt sich um einen Startbereich, einen Bereich für Prüfdaten und einen Bereich, in dem die Daten und der Code für den Betrieb der Chipkarte untergebracht werden.
