Piezoelectric device comprises a piezoelectric element (2) having an anisotropic thermal expansion in the contact plane (4) to a support element (3) so that a maximum expansion difference is produced between the piezoelectric element and the support element. An adapting element (5) is arranged between the piezoelectric element and the support element and has an anisotropic thermal expansion in the plane of both contact surfaces (6) at least in the direction of the maximum expansion difference between each of the piezoelectric element and the support element. Preferred Features: The piezoelectric element and/or the adapting element are made from quartz, gallium phosphate, potassium titanyl phosphate or triglycin sulfate.
