Television viewer behavior detection method carrying out automatic iris identification using apparatus that can be part of television set

The method involves using an electronic registering apparatus that carries out automatic iris identification instead of the remote control for identifying a viewer. The apparatus for the iris identification can be a part of the television set or be a separate apparatus. Additionally, the viewing direction of the eyes is detected even with larger and faster head and eye movements. An Independent claim is also provided for an arrangement for detecting television viewer behavior.
