Ferrule (1) zum Abschluss eines Lichtleiters, umfassend- ein transparentes Kunststoffelement (3) und- ein undurchsichtiges, lichtblockendes Kunststoffelement (5), wobei- beide Kunststoffelemente (3, 5) miteinander verbunden sind, und wobei- das transparente Kunststoffelement (3) ein Lichteintrittsende (30) aufweist, und wobei ein in Richtung auf das Lichteintrittsende (30) verlaufender Kanal (7) vorgesehen ist, um das Ende (90) eines Lichtleiters (9) aufzunehmen, wobei- zumindest ein Abschnitt (71) des Kanals (7) im transparenten Kunststoffelement (3) verläuft, wobei- die beiden Kunststoffelemente (3, 5) in axialer Richtung in Bezug auf den Kanal (7) entlang eines Längsabschnitts (10) überlappen, und wobei- das undurchsichtige Kunststoffelement (5) einen Kragen (50) aufweist, welcher den Kanal (7) umgibt und dessen Außendurchmesser größer ist als der maximale Außendurchmesser des transparenten Kunststoffelement (3), gekennzeichnet durch ein im transparenten Kunststoffelement (3) ausgeformtes Verankerungselement (22) im Kanal (7), welches geeignet ist, einen Formschluss mit einer im Kanal (7) eingefüllten und ausgehärteten Kunststoffmasse zu bilden.
