The engine hood-spray nozzle-arrangement has an engine hood (2) which is provided with a reinforcing fin (4A,4B) that is extended in the longitudinal direction of the engine hood, where the reinforcing fin rises opposite to the upper surface of the engine hood. The reinforcing fin forms an inclined surface to the end (5) facing a windshield (3), in which a spray nozzle is arranged. The engine hood has two parallel and spaced identical reinforcing fins. The reinforcing fins are gradually increased from front to rear. The spray nozzle is fixed to a sheet metal flange of the engine hood. An independent claim is included for a method for mounting an engine hood-spray nozzle-arrangement.
