Zusammenfassung:	The method involves blocking an automatic application of a brake (104) by a control unit (103) through an input in an input unit (101). The control unit releases the brake, if it is already applied. The input has two input steps and is possible only during the ignition of a motor vehicle. The blocking of the automatic application of the brake remains obtained after the switching-off of the ignition. The input unit is a center input unit of an onboard computer. The input takes place manually or acoustically. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Steuerung einer Bremse (104) eines Kraftfahrzeugs. Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass durch eine Eingabe in ein Eingabemittel (101) ein damit verbundenes Steuermittel (103) ein automatisches Anlegen der Bremse (104) sperrt, und das Steuermittel (103) die Bremse (104), sofern diese zuvor angelegt ist.
