Zusammenfassung:	The inverter has a magnetic throttle (10) that is provided with a first inductance, such that product from first switching frequency and first inductance is less than or equal to 12 Hz.H. A control device (19) is adapted to control the inverter to the first switching frequency. An output filter (14) is adapted to filter spurious signals of the inverter. A control device (29) is provided to control a step-up converter with the second switching frequency. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a photovoltaic plant; and (2) a method for operating inverter. Die vorliegende Erfindung schafft einen Wechselrichter mit einer modifizierten Auslegung. Die Auslegung des Wechselrichters wird dabei so verändert, dass sich ein reduziertes Produkt aus Schaltfrequenz und Induktivität der Drossel im Hochsetzsteller ergibt. Durch die modifizierte Auslegung für den Betriebsmodus des Wechselrichters kann die Drosselinduktivität reduziert werden. Dies ermöglicht den Aufbau kleinerer und leichterer Wechselrichter.
