The refrigerating device has a machine room (201) which comprises a compressor and an opening at the rear side of the refrigerating device. An earthed, conductive or insulating covering (205) partially covers the opening in area of electrical lines. The covering is arranged in area of a network connection or compressor connection. The covering is inserted at the refrigerator or is screwed with the refrigerator. The covering is formed by a sheet metal plate and comprises a ventilation slot. The cover is provided with an anticorrosive coating comprising zinc.
