Zusammenfassung:	The method involves optically measuring the positions of three fixed features (2) of the component (1) in a sensor coordinate system of optical position measuring unit. The positional deviation of the component is determined based on the actual position determined by the positions of the fixed features of the component and the predetermined desired position. The graphical representation of a position deviation is performed on a screen or projected directly on the component to be aligned. An independent claim is included for device for aligning component in predetermined desired position. Ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Ausrichtung einer Komponente (1) in eine vorgegebene Soll-Lage werden beschrieben. Dabei erfolgt ein optisches Vermessen der Positionen von mindestens drei Merkmalen (2) der Komponente und ein Bestimmen der Lageabweichung der Komponente (1) zwischen der mittels der Positionen der Merkmale (2) ermittelten Ist-Lage der Komponente (1) und der vorgegebenen Soll-Lage.
