Layer structure, useful for delivering active ingredient e.g. drug to outside, comprises carrier substrate, areas containing active ingredient, and semipermeable outer layer applied on non-drug occupied intermediate areas on substrate

The layer structure comprises a carrier substrate (100), active areas (101) that are spaced apart from each other and are applied to the carrier substrate, and a semipermeable outer layer (103) deposited or formed on the substrate and the active areas. The active areas contain an active ingredient....

Zusammenfassung:The layer structure comprises a carrier substrate (100), active areas (101) that are spaced apart from each other and are applied to the carrier substrate, and a semipermeable outer layer (103) deposited or formed on the substrate and the active areas. The active areas contain an active ingredient. Each of the areas completely is completely surrounded by non-drug occupied intermediate areas (102) of the carrier substrate. The semi-permeable outer layer is directly or indirectly applied on the non-drug occupied intermediate areas on the substrate. The layer structure comprises a carrier substrate (100), active areas (101) that are spaced apart from each other and are applied to the carrier substrate, and a semipermeable outer layer (103) deposited or formed on the substrate and the active areas. The active areas contain an active ingredient. Each of the areas completely is completely surrounded by non-drug occupied intermediate areas (102) of the carrier substrate. The semi-permeable outer layer is directly or indirectly applied on the non-drug occupied intermediate areas on the substrate. Each of the active areas is enclosed around sides and from a top of the semi-permeable outer layer so that forming agent is deposited. The drug passes or diffuses to the outside through the semipermeable outer layer. The active areas are applied in the form of a repetitive pattern on the carrier substrate, and are separated by the non-drug intermediate areas. Each of the active regions is further completely covered by the semi-permeable coating layer. The semi-permeable outer layer covers the non-drug occupied intermediate areas of the substrate. The semipermeable outer layer comprises a polypropylene layer. The support substrate is \ adhered to the active ingredient and the semi-permeable outer layer. The semi-permeable outer layer has a thickness of 30 nm to 10mu m. The active areas have a thickness of 2 mm and a maximum diameter of 3 mm. The thickness of the semipermeable coating layer is selected so that the desired permeability of the semipermeable coating layer is achieved and a desired rate of diffusion of at least one drug through the semipermeable layer is achieved. A width of the non-drug occupied intermediate areas between adjacent active areas is selected so large that a reliable adhesion of the semi-permeable layer is around to ensure an active substance area. The active areas are sized so that the active ingredient particles are sufficiently small and harmle
