Zusammenfassung:The stator (10) has first and second windings (11, 12) feeding electric currents (111, 121), and a spacer (14) providing a distance (17) between the windings. An insulating material (16) is molded into the spacer, and the windings are designed as two single coil windings that are arranged adjacent to each other. The spacer is arranged between a pole segment as winding holders (15) and first or second windings and arranged between the first and second windings. The spacer is made of plastic material and/or isolation material i.e. epoxy resin. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an electric machine (2) a method for manufacturing a stator of an electric machine. Es ist ein Stator (10) für eine elektrische Maschine (1; 2) und ein Verfahren zum Herstellen des Stators (10) bereitgestellt.
