Zusammenfassung:	The wheel surface element (2) comprises a cover body (9) with an opening, a cover flap (3) hinged on one side of the opening, and an actuating element. One end of the actuating element is coupled with the cover body and another end of the actuating element is coupled with the cover flap. The actuating element has a lower curvature between its primary and secondary ends with certain primary temperature, where its secondary temperature is higher than the primary temperature. The actuating element has a bimetallic strip (5), an elastic element and a shortening element made of shape memory alloy. Es werden Radoberflächenelemente, beispielsweise Radabdeckungen, bereitgestellt, welche einen Abdeckungskörper (9) und Öffnungen aufweisen, welche mit Klappen (3) verschließbar sind. Ein Betätigungselement (5) ändert abhängig von der Temperatur seine Krümmung und kann somit die Klappen (3) bei höheren Temperaturen öffnen.
