Zusammenfassung:	The box has a plastic sleeve (1) that is formed as a bottomless sleeve having specific cross-section. A sleeve-like insert (3) made of intumescent material is inserted into the plastic sleeve. Resilient slats (4) made of intumescent material are protruded in direction of clearance surrounded by the sleeve-like insert. Pocket-like recess is formed adjacent to attachment region of the resilient slat. Die Erfindung beschreibt eine elektrische Installationsdose zum Einbau in Wände, die als bodenlose Hülse mit beliebigem Querschnitt ausgebildet ist, wobei in die aus Kunststoff bestehende Hülse (1) ein hülsenartiger Einsatz (3) aus intumeszierendem Material eingebracht ist, wobei das intumeszierende Material elastische Lamellen (4), Finger oder ähnliche Vorsprünge aufweist oder bildet, die in den von der Hülse (1) und/oder dem Einsatz (3) umgebenen Freiraum, der zur Durchführung von Langformteilen bestimmt ist, hineinragen.
