The device (4) has external holding segments (6) elastically connected with one another by spring elements (8) that are arranged between the holding segments in a circumferential direction. The holding segments are radially displaceable against spring force of the spring elements. The holding segments and the spring elements together form a thin walled, cylindrical and spring-elastic deformable collar that is integrally formed and made of plastic. The spring elements are curved in the circumferential direction and designed as curved, saw-tooth or accordion-shaped bands. An independent claim is also included for a tray. Offenbart wird eine Halteeineinrichtung zur zumindest drehsicheren Fixierung eines Behälters, insbesondere einer Flasche aus Kunststoff oder Glas, in einer Aufnahme mittels radial von außen auf den Behälter wirkenden Haltesegmenten.
