Cabinet body i.e. tubular cabinet body, for suspended fastening at desk in office, has housing made of sheet metal and partially forming base and/or walls, frame fixed at walls and base, and retaining strips defined at each side wall

The body (1) has a U-shaped housing (2) made of a sheet metal and partially forming a base (3) and/or side walls (4) of the body. The housing is closed at its rear side by a rear wall (6), and a frame (9) is fixed at the side walls and the base. Vertical retaining strips (7, 8) are made of curved and punched sheet metal. The vertical retaining strips are defined at each side wall for fastening fittings e.g. extension guides. The rear wall comprises a bent edge held in a bent rear edge of the housing. An independent claim is also included for a furniture. Ein Schrankkörper (1), insbesondere zur hängenden Befestigung an Tischen (40) umfasst ein im Wesentlichen u-förmiges Gehäuse (2) aus einem Metallblech, das einen Boden (3) und zwei Seitenwände (4) des Schrankkörpers (1) ausbildet und rückseitig durch eine Rückwand (6) verschlossen ist, wobei an den Seitenwänden (4) und dem Boden (3) mindestens ein Rahmen (9) fixiert ist. Dadurch lässt sich der Schrankkörper (1) mit nur wenigen Bauteilen herstellen.
