Zusammenfassung:	The wound dressing comprises a wound contact surface with hydrophilic layer formed on a support material, which is smooth and mechanically stable. The water film is attached on the wound contact surface with high stability. The support material is comprised of openings for allowing the passage of fluids. The hydrophilic layer is comprised of inorganic nanoparticles around which silicate layer is formed, and medicaments and other substances. An independent claim is included for method for manufacturing wound dressing. Wundabdeckung, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Wundkontaktfläche dieser Wundabdeckung eine hydrophile Schicht aufweist, die durch eine mechanisch stabile, glatte Oberfläche und eine hohe Stabilität der Bindung eines Wasserfilms an dieser Oberfläche gekennzeichnet ist.
