Zusammenfassung:	The method involves supplying an air stream to a hand-piece (1), where the air stream is heated and moistened in the hand-piece. The air stream is introduced into an external ear canal (12) of an ear (13) through a modular ear adapter. The air stream is heated to a temperature of 30 degree centigrade or 44 degree centigrade, where the air stream is saturated with water vapor according to the temperature of the air stream. An independent claim is provided for an apparatus for wet caloric stimulation of the vestibular organ with an air stream source. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur feuchtekalorischen Reizung des Vestibularorgans. Erfindungsgemäß wird ein Luftstrom einem Handstück (1) zugeführt und im Handstück (1) befeuchtet und/oder temperiert und anschließend mittels eines modularen Ohradapters (5) in einen äußeren Gehörgang (12) eines Ohrs (13) eingeleitet. Weiterhin betrifft die Erfindung eine Vorrichtung (14) zur feuchtekalorischen Reizung des Vestibularorgans mit einer Luftstromquelle (10).
