The rod has a line roller guide (2) comprising a storage medium (3) e.g. rechargeable battery, inside a reversible and releasable handle (4) for heating the roller guide. The roller guide consists of weather-proof, sturdy and flexible material. A heating wire is formed within the roller guide and placed over the entire length of the roller guide. The heating wire is coated with a heat conducting silicone layer. An insulating layer is formed between the heating wire and/or the silicone layer and an outer material.
