Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Herstellung einer dreidimensional geformten Fläche, bei dem von wenigstens einem dreidimensionalen Abschnitt (1) zumindest eines Gegenstandes eine Kraft auf verschiebbare Anlageelemente (20) ausgeübt wird, die sich dadurch entsprechend der Kontur des dreidimensionalen Abschnittes (1) verschieben und somit mit ihren dem Gegenstand zugewandten Oberflächen zumindest punktuell eine Negativform (40) des dreidimensionalen Abschnitts (1) erstellen, und bei denen ein Flächenelement (50) durch Änderung seiner Form der Negativform (40) angepasst wird und in der Negativform (40) die geänderte Form des Flächenelementes (50) zur Erstellung der dreidimensional geformten Fläche fixiert wird. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner eine Verwendung der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung.
