Zusammenfassung:The device (10) has a thrust chamber unit (12) including multiple walls (38, 40, 42, 44) that limit a thrust chamber unit space (14). The walls are porously formed in an injection area. The injection area forms an injector for injecting fuel into the thrust chamber unit space, so that 50 percent of the required fuel is injected through the thrust chamber unit space during an operation of the device. A supply device (60) includes a manifold (52) that is fluidically connected with the injection area, so that the supply device supplies the fuel to the injection area. The walls are made from a fiber reinforced material and/or a ceramic material and/or an oxide-ceramic material and/or a sintered metal and/or a carbide ceramic material. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a thruster device.
