Zusammenfassung: | The carrier part (14) has two inner hollow profiles (16) overmolded with plastic masses (18) by a single tool and connected relative to each other by the plastic masses in a predetermined position. An energy absorption element i.e. percussion foam, is molded on the carrier part for energy absorption. A clearance for receiving sensors is formed between the hollow profiles. The sensors and crash elements are attached to a front region (20) of the plastic masses. The geometry of the profiles is adapted by internal high pressure in all spatial directions. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a carrier part for a body of a motor vehicle i.e. passenger car.
