New cyclodextrin carbamate compound useful in the production of textile material and paper

Cyclodextrin carbamate compound, is new. Independent claims are also included for: (1) preparing the cyclodextrin carbamate; (2) covalently bonding the cyclodextrin carbamate of formula (I) to a compound having a functional group comprising amino-, hydroxyl, aldehyde-, thiol- or a hydroxymethyl carbamic acid ester group of formula (-O-C(=O)-NH-CH 2-OH), comprising mixing (I) with the compound having the functional group, and linking (I) with the compound having the functional group by increasing the temperature to 70-180[deg] C for 0.1-60 minutes; and (3) a material, preferably a textile material or paper, to which a hydroxymethylated cyclodextrin carbamate is covalently bonded. n : 6-8; R 1>H, (hydroxy)alkyl or (-C(=O)NR 2>R 3>) (Ia), where at least one residue R 1>is (Ia) per molecule; R 2>H (preferred) or (hydroxy)alkyl; and R 3>H or (hydroxy)alkyl, preferably hydroxymethyl. Die Erfindung betrifft Cyclodextrin-Carbamat vorzugsweise gekennzeichnet durch die Formel (I)wobei n 6, 7 oder 8 bedeutet und die Reste R1 gleich oder verschieden sind und Wasserstoffrest, Alkylrest, Hydroxyalkylrest oder Carbamatrest der allgemeinen Formel -C(=O)NR2R3 bedeuten, wobei mindestens ein Rest R1 pro Molekül ein Carbamatrest ist und die Reste R2 und R3 gleich oder verschieden sind und Wasserstoffrest, Alkylrest oder Hydoxyalklrest bedeuten.
