Zusammenfassung:Applying an adhesive (2) on fuel cell components, comprises transferring the adhesive from a carrier film (4) to predetermined positions on at least one of the fuel cell components. An independent claim is also included for a device (1) for carrying out the above mentioned method, comprising an upper pressed body (1.1), which is parallel to a lower pressed body, where a fuel cell component and a carrier film along with an applied adhesive are feasible between the pressed bodies. The fuel cell component and the carrier film are pressed together by the press bodies such that the adhesive is transferred to predetermined positions on the fuel cell component.
