Zusammenfassung:The material collecting device for collecting scattering steam in a coating plant, which is partially made of fiber material such as wool, fleece, knits or bristles and has a surface multiply larger against its geometric projection surface, comprises a carrier element (1) for fiber materials (2). The collecting device is formed as a form element in the form of a plate, a tunnel or a shell. The carrier element is formed in the form of plate, tunnel or shell and is produced from ceramics, metallic materials and elastomers of high thermal and chemical stability. The material collecting device for collecting scattering steam in a coating plant, which is partially made of fiber material such as wool, fleece, knits or bristles and has a surface multiply larger against its geometric projection surface, comprises a carrier element (1) for fiber materials (2). The collecting device is formed as a form element in the form of a plate, a tunnel or a shell. The carrier element is formed in the form of plate, tunnel or shell and is produced from ceramics, metallic materials and elastomers of high thermal and chemical stability such as Viton(RTM: Fluoroelastomer). The fiber material is arranged in the type of bristles that are partially aligned parallel to moving direction of the scattering steam. The fiber material comprises mineral fibers, ceramic fibers, glass fibers and metallic fibers. The fiber material is covered by a sleeve element, which is a network of fiber material or a metallic or ceramic lattice. The fiber material or sleeve element is a section of a tubular semi-finished product, which covers the carrier element. Independent claims are included for: (1) a vacuum coating plant for horizontal physical vapor deposition-coating of disc-shaped or plate-shaped substrate; and (2) a coating method for horizontal physical vapor deposition-coating of disc-shaped or plate-shaped substrate.
