The system has a molded fastening rail e.g. flat C-section, arranged in a motor vehicle, and a container (3) fixed with a fastening device and provided in detachable connection with the fastening rail. The fastening device exhibits a gripping part and a hook device with a hook element comprising a hook projection, where the hook element is pre-stressed by a spring. The container is inserted into the fastening rail through the fastening device by a longitudinal-axial insertion opening of the rail. The gripping part and the hook projection engage lips of the fastening rail.
