The device has a tubular-shaped part (3) and an upper part (1) standing in mechanical contact with each other. A cylinder-shaped container (4) is provided for storing active material and carrier medium in fluid, gas or solid form such that releasing of the active material from the container takes place in an active manner. Concentration and flow degree of the material are modulated by flow resistances (9) of the material and the medium, where the released material and the medium form a multi-phase system. The container is designed as a cassette, a cartridge and a canister. Der Erfindung betrifft Vorrichtungen zur kontrollierten Verabreichung chemsosensorisch aktiver Stoffe an den olfaktorischen Apparat biologischer Organismen, insbesondere zur Verbesserung von Störungen im Zentralnervensystem. Die Vorrichtugen ermöglichen für verschiedene zentralnervös aktive Stoffe ein gezieltere, rascher wirksame und nebenwirkungsärmere Anwendung als mit systemischen Applikationen erzielbar.
