The indicator element is a micro tube filled with an indicator liquid or an indicator thread, and partly woven into the belt. A characteristic of the indicator element changes, when the limit loading of the belt is exceeded. The change of characteristic of the indicator element is sensually observable. The indicator element is attached to an evaluation unit that detects and indicates a change of characteristic of the indicator element by a signal element.
