Zusammenfassung:The arrestor (10) has a body-sided arrestor part (14) and a door-sided arrestor part (12) that includes a locking area (30) with a set of locking positions (32). The locking area is in contact with an engaging element (34) i.e. spring clip (36), of the body-sided arrestor part. The door-sided arrestor part is tiltable around a door pivot axis (28) and fixed relative to a door (22). The locking area is formed as arc-shaped around the door pivot axis. The spring clip is connected with a body-sided hinge part (18) by a connection element (38) of another body-sided arrestor part (16). An independent claim is also included for a support for a door of a motor vehicle, comprising a door arrestor. Die Erfindung betrifft einen Türfeststeller für eine Tür (22) eines Kraftwagens, insbesondere eines Personenkraftwagens, mit einem karosserieseitigen Feststellerteil (14) und einem türseitigen Feststellerteil (12), von welchen ein Feststellerteil (12) einen eine Mehrzahl von Rastpositionen (32) aufweisenden Rastbereich (30) umfasst, welcher mit einem Eingriffselement (34) des anderen Feststellerteils (14) zusammenwirkt, wobei das türseitige Feststellerteil (12) um die Türschwenkachse (28) verschwenkbar ausgebildet ist. Des Weiteren betrifft die Erfindung eine Lagerung für eine Tür eines Kraftwagens mit einem solchen Türfeststeller.
