The beam is extended in a vehicle transverse direction (Y) perpendicular to a driving direction (X) and comprised of a lock plate for fastening the bonnet lock. The plate has fastening regions (2b, 2c) e.g. openings, arranged with a directional component at a distance from each other in a direction (Z) and in the vehicle transverse direction. The direction is extended perpendicular to the driving direction. The lock plate is attached to the receiving region.
