Zusammenfassung:The method involves evaluating information about slosh motion of the solution in a reducing agent tank of an internal combustion engine, such that information of an aggregate state and/or temperature of a reducing agent solution are extracted. The information of the aggregate state and/or temperature of the solution are utilized for displaying dosing readiness of the solution and for controlling heat of the tank. The information about slosh motion of the solution is obtained by evaluating data of a level sensor e.g. ultrasonic sensor and capacitive sensor. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program having a set of instructions for performing a method for provision of information about an aggregate state and/or temperature of a reducing agent solution (2) a computer program product having a set of instructions for performing a method for provision of information about an aggregate state and/or temperature of a reducing agent solution. Es wird ein Verfahren zur Bereitstellung von Informationen (14, 16) über den Aggregatzustand und/oder die Temperatur einer Reduktionsmittellösung, insbesondere einer Harnstoff-Wasserlösung, in einem einer Brennkraftmaschine zugeordneten Reduktionsmitteltank bereitgestellt. Hierbei werden durch Auswertung von Informationen zu Schwappbewegungen (13, 15) der Reduktionsmittellösung im Reduktionsmitteltank Rückschlüsse auf die Temperatur der Reduktionsmittellösung gezogen.
