Zusammenfassung: | The method involves transferring heat from transmission oil to a coolant by a transmission oil/coolant heat exchanger (18). The coolant is pumped in a coolant cycle of an internal combustion engine (2) of a vehicle. The coolant is pumped by a coolant pump (8) that is mechanically driven by the internal combustion engine in operating conditions of the vehicle. The coolant is pumped by an electrical coolant pump (15) in specific operating conditions in which the driven coolant pump does not operate or does not produce sufficient pumping output. An independent claim is also included for a hybrid vehicle comprising a turbocharger and a cooling circuit that is provided for cooling an internal combustion engine and the turbocharger.
