The axle (4) has steering tie rods (6, 8) connected with wheels (22, 24). Rubber-elastic bearings (10, 12) are provided for mounting the steering tie rods at a body (18) of a motor vehicle (2). The steering tie rods are coupled with each other by a rigid coupling bar (20), which engages bearing elements (6.1, 8.1) of the steering tie rods. The bearings are fixed to projections (14, 16) of the body of the motor vehicle. The coupling bar connects the steering tie rods at a region of the bearing elements such that the steering tie rods are freely pivoted at the bearing elements. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Hinterachse (4) eines Kraftfahrzeuges, insbesondere eines Personenkraftfahrzeuges (2), mit je einer mit einem Rad (22, 24) verbindbaren Spurstange (6, 8) und einer Lagerung (10, 12) zur Aufhängung der Spurstangen (6, 8) an einer Karosserie (18). Zur Verbesserung des Fahrverhaltens sind die Spurstangen (6, 8) mittels eines Koppelelementes (20) miteinander gekoppelt.
