Zusammenfassung:The lighting unit i.e. headlight (20), has a housing (22) associated with a holding unit (24) for holding the lighting unit. The holding unit is directly fixed to a longitudinal chassis beam (28) for a body of a motor vehicle. The holding unit has two holding parts (26, 30) that are integrally formed with the housing. The holding part (30) is fixed to the body by additional holders (32). A hood lock is integrated in the housing. The housing has a support area (34) that is supported in an area of a main chassis beam (36). Die Erfindung betrifft eine Leuchteinheit, insbesondere Scheinwerfer (20), für einen Kraftwagen, mit einem Gehäuse (22), welchem wenigstens eine Halteeinrichtung (24) zur Halterung der Leuchteinheit (20) zugeordnet ist, wobei die wenigstens eine Halteeinrichtung (24) unmittelbar an der Karosserie des Kraftwagens festlegbar ist.
