The heat exchanger (W) has a collecting case (1) with a base part (2) and a closing part (3), where the closing part is provided with a bar that is broken and metallically connected with the base part. Extension attachments are inserted in openings of the base part, respectively. The extension attachments are tapered in cross section by a gradation covering an entire circumference of the extension attachments.
