An independent claim is included for a process for preparing the compact polyurethane elastomer, comprising producing the compact polyurethane elastomer in the presence of magnetic particles, so that the magnetic particles are present in the compact polyurethane elastomer. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein kompaktes Polyurethanelastomer, enthaltend 7 bis 11 Vol.-% magnetisierbare Teilchen. Weiter betrifft diese Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung solcher Materialien und deren Verwendung zur Schwingungsdämpfung.
