Zusammenfassung:	The device has a piping section (1) with an upper opening (4) for allowing flow of fluid i.e. air, where the piping section is arranged in an installed condition above the roof of a building. A fire protection agent has a locking unit (11) to reduce or prevent fluid flow through the opening in case of fire, where the locking unit partly consists of a non-combustible material. The locking unit is arranged in the installed condition above the opening in a position. The locking unit is transferred from the former position into another position for closing the opening in case of fire. Vorrichtung zur Durchführung einer Rohrleitung oder dergleichen durch ein Dach, umfassend mindestens einen im eingebauten Zustand oberhalb des Daches angeordneten Rohrabschnitt (1, 1a, 1b) mit einer oberen Öffnung (4), durch die Fluide, vorzugsweise Luft, hindurchtreten können, wobei die Vorrichtung Brandschutzmittel umfasst. Die Brandschutzmittel können dabei Absperrmittel (11) umfassen, die im Brandfall einen Fluidaustausch durch die Öffnung (4) reduzieren oder verhindern können.
