The unit (1) has a piston (3) axially moves opposite to housing (2), and an inner ring (5.1) of a clutch release bearing (5) fixed at piston. A ferrous magnet metal element (8) is coupled with the plunger and a sensor (9) is fixedly arranged at the housing. A movement of the ferrous magnet metal element is identified by the sensor that includes a magnet coupled with a solenoid, so that the modification of a magnetic field is detected by the movement of the ferrous magnet metal element. The metal element is arranged at a flange (7) that is connected with the piston.
