Zusammenfassung:The method involves providing a cyclone head (3) designed as an upwardly narrowed cylinder. An inlet opening (2) is arranged in an upper region of the cyclone head. Gas mixture i.e. air, is supplied into the cyclone head via the inlet opening. An outlet opening (1) is arranged at an upper end of the cyclone head. A component i.e. helium, is separated from the gas mixture by a cyclone principle. The separated component is withdrawn via the outlet opening, where specific mass of the component is different from other gas components in the gas mixture. An independent claim is also included for a device for separating a component from gas mixture. Es werden ein Verfahren sowie eine Vorrichtung zum Auftrennen eines Gasgemisches, insbesondere zum Abtrennen wenigstens einer Komponente aus einem Gasgemisch, beschrieben. Erfindungsgemäß wird das Gasgemisch mittels des Zyklonprinzips aufgetrennt.
