Zusammenfassung:The pipe has a stainless steel body (34) provided with an inner surface (42) and an outer surface (36). The outer surface comprises a coating (40) that exhibits oxidation catalyst effect. The coating is made of platinum, and comprises a ceramic support layer. The inner surface comprises a ceramic coating (44) that consists of aluminum oxide, silicon oxide and/or aluminosilicate, where the ceramic coating is porous and permeable to gas. The pipe surrounds a ceramic electrolyte (18) of a lambda sensor (10). Die Erfindung betrifft ein Schutzrohr(28) für eine Lambdasonde (10) eines Dieselmotors, mit einer äußeren (36) und einer inneren (42) Oberfläche, wobei die äußere Oberfläche (36) zumindest bereichsweise eine Beschichtung (40) mit oxidationskatalysierender Wirkung aufweist.
