A device moves between function position and mounting position. The device stays in contact with a counterpart receptacle (110) of the actuator in the mounting position. The device releases the receptacle of the actuator in function position, and the mounting opening of the door module of the motor vehicle door is covered by another device. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a window pane in a motor vehicle door.
